Both of these Labradors are well trained, working gundogs. Ace Berry of Ace's Gundogs, the owner of Diablo hunts him several days per week in the marshes of Southwest Mississippi and Eastern Louisiana. Maggie is a joy to be around, gentle and kind, but a "ball of fire" when it comes to retrieving . She is steady as a rock, handles to blinds, stops on the whistle and has a great nose.
If you never owned a British Labrador, you will be amazed at the difference! These dogs are calm, great to be around and make wonderful companion dogs as well as superb gundogs.

We will ship to your closest major airport, however the airlines are becoming more and more rigid with their shipping rules. It's virtually impossible to ship from the South after the middle of May.None of the airlines will ship when the temperature is over 85 degrees at the destination airport or any layover airport. Also prices for airfreight have risen dramatically.TO calculate airfreight, go to Continental, Delta or Northwest airlines websites. Calculate price from Baton Rouge, LA (BTR), to your airport. Expect to pay somewhere between 250.00 - 300.00 Dollars plus the price of crate for shipping. We would much prefer to have you pick up your puppy here at the kennel, however we realize that isn't always possible. We will work with puppy purchasers to the best of our ability to make your puppy purchase as easy as possible.
When you pick up your puppy, you will receive a copy of our guarantee as well as a puppy litter registration form from AKC. It is your responsibility to apply for registration for your puppy from AKC. All of our dogs will leave here with the litter registration prefix "OAKALLEY" you can add the name you choose, so if you want to name your dog Princess Elizabeth, her registered name will be "Oakalley Princess Elizabeth"
One of the most perplexing problems that we have faced in the past are owners who call us 4-5 years after they purchase a puppy to try to get help getting their dogs registered. We have folks who fail to register their pups, lose the litter registration, or just don't take the time to get the forms filled out (It becomes hard to register, even witth the papers after one year has elapsed) and want us to help them get their dogs registered. It's almost impossible to get your dog registered after 4-5 years, believe me I know, because we have been through this with customers and friends.
Finally, remember the price you pay for a puppy will be the smallest portion of the total cost of your dog over 12-14 years. A good dog will be a welcome member of your family, a bad dog will make you wish he/she belonged to someone else every day of their life.
